Full Day Josani Forest and Dolphin Encounter Tour – Zanzibar

Set off on a fascinating journey through Jozani Forest and Zanzibar’s spice plantations. Begin with a green walk through the wild, rugged woods of Jozani, located about an hour's drive from Stone Town. Explore the impressive mangrove boardwalk swamp and spot the famous Red Colobus monkeys, found only in Zanzibar. Enjoy the island's unique wildlife as you stroll through the forest. Next, visit the spice plantations to experience Zanzibar’s exotic spices, herbs, and tropical fruit trees. Savor the scents of black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla, and try your hand at climbing a coconut palm with the help of the "spice boys." During the tour, enjoy a refreshing cup of spice tea.

Green walk through wild and rugged woods, About one hour drive from Stone town to get there. Visit the mangroves boardwalk swamp (impressive!), and of course witness the Red colobus monkeys which are numerous in Jozani area and only found in Zanzibar. Nature walks through the forest are a great way to see the wildlife on the Island

A tour through the spice plantations to witness the numerous exotic spices, herbs and tropical fruit trees of Zanzibar. You will have the joy to sense black pepper vines, Cardamon bushes, Cinnamon trees, Nutmeg trees, Clove trees and Vanilla Vines, just to name a few. A cup of spice tea will be served during a tour; also, you will have a chance of trying climbing a coconut palm after learning from spice boys! The tour will be combined with a visit to the Persian bath of Kidichi, which were built for the second wife of the first Arab Ruler Said bin Sultan one who lived at the Mtoni Palace Ruin.
