Soweto Full-Day Tour

For most, Soweto (short for South Western Township) is synonymous with resistance to apartheid, South Africa's former policy of racial segregation. The township's complex past is visible in Soweto's moving museums, historical monuments, and strong traditions. We then proceed to Elias Motsoaled Squatter Camp and Mandela house. Mandela house strives to be a world-class visitor attraction, and a leading centre for the preservation, and research of the history, heritage and legacy of the great Mandela Family, it is a Museum with all furniture and you can experience the life of the first black president of South Africa. While there you will experience how Sowetan people live like eating Kota (is a traditional bunny chow) and more. Hector Pieterson museum you will see the history of the 1976 students uprising against the old government, take pictures, experience Vilakazi street where you will find everything related to African culture, and many more.
