Nagarkot is a village located about 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is on the northeastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 2175 m above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. You can see Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks, and there is an observation tower at the very top of the village’s hills. This early morning tour begins when your driver meet you at your hotel and it concludes 4-hours later when they bring you back to your hotel.

Our driver will receive you from your hotel early in the morning while the sky is still dark, around 4 am – 5 am depending on the season. Your private vehicle follows the 42-km (27 miles) road to Nagarkot Hill in about 45 minutes. From the hill station of Nagarkot, you get the chance to watch the sunrise over the mighty Himalayas. On a clear day, you can see the sun rays hit the Mount Everest, Mount Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and the Annapurna Mountains.
