Arctic Circle Winter Drive Adventure

You will be driving your own sled and team of dogs in pairs, an experienced guide will lead your tour on the trail (group size is 20 guests maximum) - Drive your own team of huskies, in pairs you will share control of a dog sled and team of 5-6 Alaskan Huskies - Training is provided on how to control your sled and an experienced guide will lead your tour on the trail - 70-80 minutes of dog sledding in the Arctic wilderness - Afterwards, enjoy cake and a warm drink in the Lavvu - All necessary equipment to keep you safe and warm is provided. Minimum age 7 years Join us for the experience of a lifetime, mushing your own team of dogs across the Arctic wilderness. Meet our kennel of 130 beautiful Alaskan Huskies. These are the running dogs of the Arctic, born and bred with a passion to pull. You will have plenty of opportunities to swap between driver and passenger throughout the trip, as well as a chance to cuddle the dogs once back at the kennel.

Journey to the Arctic Circle from Fairbanks for a first-hand experience of the Earth’s northernmost circle of latitude in one of our climate-controlled vans. Here, in the summer and winter, the sky is completely dark or light for 24 hours a day! Travel along the Dalton Highway, made famous by the TV show "Ice Road Truckers", and spot wildlife (no guarantee) as you cross the Yukon River. When you arrive, learn about the area’s indigenous culture, take a walk with your guide, snap photos of the arctic landscape, and enjoy a snack and beverage amidst the incredible surroundings. You’ll take home an official Arctic Circle certificate to commemorate this amazing Alaska experience. Make sure to dress weather appropriate and we recommend to wear some sturdy shoes to be able enjoy this trip.

One thing that sets our tour apart from other is the mobile experience of the tour. We focus on making sure we are getting the best photos of the Aurora by "chasing" it with a vehicle and stopping when we think its a good time to take photos. Customers will be thrilled by this fast and adventurous to watch the beautiful Northern Lights while taking amazing photos and appreciating the beauty of Alaska.

Travel along one of the world’s most isolated roads from Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle on this memorable 12 to 14-hour tour through the Alaskan wilderness. In the company of an experienced guide with a passion for Alaska, journey up the Dalton Highway, passing by the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, crossing the Yukon River, and reaching the edge of the Arctic Circle. On the drive back, watch for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). This tour is limited to 9 guests to ensure that you enjoy a small-group experience in one of our climate-controlled vans. Please note that we cannot guarantee the Northern Lights sightings and we can't guarantee last minute bookings. We do encourage each guest to rotate seats at least a few times on this tour.

Spend the day driving through the Arctic by snowmobile! Share the driving with a friend or upgrade to single driver for your own snowmobile. We take our own tracks through the forest, along the frozen Torne River and across lakes. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local delicacies around an open fire in a forest hut, and take lots of photos of your Arctic Adventure!

Drive your Quad bike across snowy lands of the Arctic! Before the ride, you learn the safety instruction of driving Quadbikes on the snow and get ready with the necessary equipment. Enjoy panoramic views while you drive through the pure Lappish forests. After the exciting trip, warm up your body with hot blueberry juice and gingerbread prepared by your guide. *Departure time may vary. Your day will start with transfer to the farm, where you will be able to ride your own reindeer sledge in a brief, 500m long ride. Your newly learned skills will be rewarded with a Reindeer Sledge Driver’s License! Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies where you will find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. Experience the Alaskan Huskies in action on a 500m long sleigh ride. Enjoy a traditional salmon soup lunch during your visit and listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century. After the farm visit, you will be taken to the Santa Claus Village where you will have some free time to explore at your own pace. You have the opportunity to experience the Christmas atmosphere, step across the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and children under 150cm can try mini snowmobiling for 10 minutes on our mini-track. Your day will conclude with drop-off back to Rovaniemi.

Picked up from your hotel and get dressed in winter clothes, that helps you to stay warm even in the harshest winter day in Lapland. Enjoy a comfortable sleigh ride pulled by a Snowmobile and discover the astonishing beauty of pure white landscapes in Finnish Lapland. You will get bright emotions and unforgettable experience! The guide will transport you to a place where you start Snowmobiling. In Finland exist official tracks for Snowmobile to avoid dangerous situations and wild animals. Your safety is an important part of the tour. Capture the best moments to keep for your traveling memory. The guide will make short stops in picturesque places. Experience the thrill of mushing with Huskies in Lapland! When in Rovaniemi, don't miss out on the opportunity to experience a dog sledding tour in the winter wonderland. Join us for a fun day adventure where you can meet and mush the Alaskan Huskies, including an hour-long self-driving safari! The highlight of the day is the 7-10 km long safari, where you get to be the musher and control the pack of huskies towing the sled. Each sledge can accommodate one driver and up to two passengers, and you can even switch drivers during your journey with the dogs. After the ride, enjoy some hot drinks and spend some time with these furry friends. You can pet them, pose for photos with them, and listen to stories about their lives in the North.

Arctic Circle Family Day This tour includes must-do activities of Lapland: Snowmobiling, Husky sleigh ride, and Ice Fishing. The first destination is the Husky Farm in the Arctic forest. You will have an experience of husky adventure sleigh ride along the picturesque forest trails. After the ride, go deep into the forest for an exciting activity in the Arctic - Snowmobiling. Drive across the sparkling white landscapes and feel the fresh air of Finnish Lapland.

Prior to setting off on your adventure, your professional guide will teach you how to ride an ATV and give you the safety instructions. Enjoy this drive through nature and get to know all about our Lappish landscape! Once you get used to driving these vehicles, you will drive deep into the forest, where you will have a stop and enjoy the breath-taking view of Lapland's mystical forests. During the break fresh Finnish blueberry juice and local gingerbread cookies will be provided. After the break, it's time for you to head back through the magical forests of Lapland to the lakeside. There, you have a moment to enjoy the suns reflections on the lake, before we head back home.

Explore the Arctic Circle Highlights and Snowmobile! Meet reindeer and huskies, explore the Santa Claus Village and ride snowmobiles through the forests of Arctic Circle.

Must in Rovaniemi! The participants are picked up from hotel in Rovaniemi at 10:00. We drive to Arctic Circle that is situated some 10 km north from Rovaniemi city.

Visit a husky kennel and reindeer farm and learn about their habits and Lappish culture. Get to know the animals and enjoy your winter adventure. Grab your cameras and get ready for an adventure. ‍ We will pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and take you to the reindeer farm. At reindeer safari, you will get an exclusive chance to become a certified reindeer driver! A reindeer driving license will be given to everyone, after a reindeer safari. A professional tour guide will provide you with a safety briefing, after which you will go on a 500m self-driving trip. Our next stop is the Husky park. This park has about 100 huskies, and each year new puppies are born. Huskies are born to run, and they are happy to take you on a safari. After a safety briefing, you can sit back and glide through the snowfields of Lapland on a husky-pulled sleigh! The husky ride is 2 km long, which gives you just enough time to snap some excellent photos.
