WE TOUR NELSON'S DOCKYARD, SHIRLEYS HEIGHTS & SNORKEL This is a guided tour by a local spearfisherman. Taking in all the sights and sounds of the island on land and in the sea, with a very high chance of snorkeling with sea turtles, and a definite chance of seeing two shipwrecks! The snorkel is in mostly shallow water, off of a beach. THIS IS NOT A BOAT TOUR. Your snorkel guide enjoys spearfishing and can show you things while snorkeling you never even knew were below you! This is a private tour, meaning you will be the only travelers. It is roughly 4 hours long. There is cold water in the vehicle. Lunch is not provided on the tour. You will also have videos of you snorkeling around the shipwrecks and turtles emailed to you after the tour. If you don't wish to snorkel or if not all travelers would like to participate in the snorkel that is okay as well. Admission to national parks not included, it is 15$USD for two tickets, meaning you only pay one time.

Drive through quaint villages as you make your way to the Interpretation Centre to experience the culture and heritage of Antigua. Discover the ruins of the 18th century English Guard Post, Shirley Heights, which offers spectacular views of English Harbour and neighboring islands. Drive through the lush tropical area to get a firsthand view of the Antiguan black pineapple, the sweetest in the world. Samples of pineapple, and mango (seasonal), as well as a rum punch or fruit punch are offered.

Iximche – Capital of the Cakchiquel Maya at the time of the Spanish Conquest, and the first capital of Guatemala, founded by the spanish conquistador PEDRO DE ALVARADO. Is located about 2hrs away from Antigua Guatemala. Our local bilingual guide will meet you at the site, and the duration of the tour around iximche is about one hour and a half. The pick up time at your hotel is between 7:20am through 7:40 am. The tour ends back in Antigua Guatemala central park around 11:30am in Antigua.

This full day tour takes you high into the mountains above Lake Atitlan on a strenuous hike ending in Solola. Explore the village of Santa Cruz la Laguna and visit the indigenous market in Solola. Hike through maize fields, coffee fields, old growth forest, and into the cloud forest. Visit a sacred Mayan site with the change to see Shaman performing Fire Ceremony. Hike ends in Solola with time to explore the market, then transfer to Panajachel and back to Antigua. Very strenuous hike.

Pacaya, one Guatemala’s youngest volcanoes, offers hikers a unique glance into the geologic center of the earth on this 8-hour small-group tour. A relatively easy climb of 1.5 hours brings you to the fertile shelf just below the cinder cone called “la Meseta.” From here you get an awesome view of recent lava flows.
