The 2025 Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival (AKA Yi Peng Lantern Festival) will be celebrated from November 5th to 6th at Chiang Mai Arts and Design (CAD), Thailand's largest government-sponsored mass sky lantern release venue. The Sky Lantern Festival is part of the Water Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The activities of the Water Lantern Festival are free, and the water lanterns are purchased by themselves. However, for safety considerations, the Sky Lantern Festival will be held at a designated place for launching paper lanterns into the sky!

Have you ever flown sky lanterns before? You will have an experience in writing messages on each side of lanterns before launching into the air.
