This small-group tour includes a short transfer from your hotel to Cairns Railway Station where you will board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for an amazing journey over 37 bridges & through 15 tunnels passing the rainforest to the charming village of Kuranda. It’s a short walk to the village where you will have over 2 hours to dine, explore, shop or perhaps an exciting encounter with wildlife at one of the zoos (fees apply) Later, make your way to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will glide over the rainforest canopy as you make your way to the Barron Falls. View the magnificent Barron Gorge, the falls & visit the Rainforest Interpretive Centre before re-boarding the cableway and making your way to Red Peak Station. From there explore the World Heritage listed rainforest before re-boarding and completing your journey at Smithfield where you will be met and transferred to your accomodation. (please note the itinerary for this tour was reversed January 2022)

This tour is 6+ hours long tour with 3 different sized passenger buses. This is available only for tourists visiting via Cruise ships or privately booked events with a minimum of 10 people. The smallest bus holds 20 passengers, the medium bus holds 24 passengers, and the largest bus holds 33 passengers. There is some easy walking involved on this tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. Please note that there will be some minor waiting required since passengers need to leave the cruise ship and then get into the bus. We cannot leave until all the passengers in the group have been seated in the bus. ***Please note: Our season begins March 1st and ends around November 15th. Your tour includes a visit to the seaside community of St. Martins. Step back in time and sense the serenity of this area with its wharf, fishing boats, and piled lobster traps. Learn about this small community's wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow during your visit. You'll also visit the famous Reversing Falls Rapids where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River. Before returning to the cruise ship, we'll stop and explore the unique Old City Market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876. Enjoy a guided kayaking adventure along the shores of the historic Saint John River from Dominion Park Beach in Saint John NB. Located just a short 15 minute drive from the center of the city! History and photo opportunity abounds as you paddle in your tandem kayak along an ice aged river where 15,000 years ago receding glaciers forced the river to find a new route over the rock ridges at Reversing Falls Rapids. A light-house, pre-cambrian fossils, and an industrial story dating back to the 17th century. Explore the beautiful and bountiful river which has been the lifeblood of our region for thousands of years. Keep your head on a swivel and an eye on the horizon for local wildlife, including bald eagles, blue heron, sturgeon, and if we're lucky, even the occasional rare sighting of harbour seal, osprey, and river otters.

The Panorama Route is an area of astounding scenic beauty around the edge of the highveld escarpment where the traveler descends from over 2000 meters to almost sea level through astounding mountain passes, past lakes, and rivers, and forested slopes with tumbling waterfalls. It is an attraction in its own right which would draw international visitors without Kruger Park being nearby. One should try to take the opportunity of visiting it ideally on a one-night stay over the trip on your way to/from your Kruger Park safari.
