On this full-day tour of Washington State’s Mt Rainier, you’ll visit the majestic 14,411-foot (4,392-m) volcano and learn about the area from your informative guide. You’ll also explore local treasures like lakes, old growth forest and waterfalls en-route from Seattle to Mt Rainier. Nature lovers won’t want to miss this! In winter and spring snowshoeing and sledding are included at no extra charge. Hiking will be offered as well PLEASE WEAR appropriate clothes and shoes. This tour is unique in that you will be on guided shorter hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park. From November to June snowshoes/crampons will be provided when necessary since there is often snow on the trails in those months. We hike a few miles throughout the day and you will experience diverse landscapes and scenery such as glaciers, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and tall trees in old-growth forest which are all the highlights in Mount Rainier National Park. (In the winter areas of the park may be closed some days and not all highlights will be accessible at times).
