Day Visit

Spend the day or a few hours at Lochmara in the Queen Charlotte Sound. Enjoy a 20 minute cruise over to Lochmara and choose from an array of activities, including a self guided walk around our 11 acre property with interpretation panels on the native flora and fauna, for those fit walkers we have a 3.5 km access track to the Queen Charlotte track, participate in the daily hand-feeding on animals including the Kakariki (native parakeet) and join a guided tour (additional fee applies) of the "Underwater Observatory – see below the sea without getting wet" The only one of its kind in the top of the South Island.

An educational and experiential experience that will allow you to discover the secrets of cheese making and its process step by step, from the coagulation of milk to shaping and salting. The guests will then be transformed into master Casari for a day, with the delivery of a certificate as a souvenir.

The city of Konispol is located in southern Albania, about 1 km from the Greek border. The main economy of the city is agriculture and the houses in Konispol have distinctive architecture. Konispol is known for its resistance to communism in Albania, and in 1992, 7 caves were discovered, belonging to the Paleolithic era. It is also well known for its traditional cooking, its olive plantations, oranges and mandarins (including its famous Mandarin Festival).
