Then we pass by the small coves of the Nature Park to reach the point of the Cap de Creus, a rugged, rocky headland rising to 672 m above the Mediterranean Sea, forming a small, hilly peninsula carved by countless chasms that form small coves oriented according to the structure of the masses of slate. The Cap Norfeu is an integral nature reserve, both terrestrial and marine. It forms part of the Cap de Creus Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful places of all the Catalan coast. It has great botanical wealth, the most common trees being pine and holm oak, and it has with numerous species of birds and aquatic animals, seeming to hold a special attraction for whales and dolphins.
